A guide to Baton Rouge Mardi Gras 2018

Whether it’s your first Mardi Gras down south or it’s your favorite “season” of this year, this list is for you.

Friday, Feb 2: Krewe of Artemis. 7 PM downtown. Kick off the season with the ladies only krewe! Come out to the annual parade and welcome over 100 floats, including 17 New Orlean’s style floats and 10 local marching bands.

Saturday, Feb 3: Krewe Mystique. 2 PM downtown. Celebrating 39 years of parading in Baton Rouge…come out and see the oldest Mardi Gras Krewe that is family oriented and  fun for all ages!

Saturday, Feb 3: Krewe of Orion. 6:30 PM downtown. Celebrate the Mardi Gras season where “It’s Good to be the King”! This family friendly parade will host plenty of plenty of beads, stuffed animals, and much more for kids and kids-at-heart to enjoy!

Sunday, Feb 4: Mid City Mardi Gras Parade. 1 PM down North Boulevard. The Mardi Gras newcomer. Mid City Gras is committed to showcasing the vibrant and diverse community in Mid City Baton Rouge. BONUS: Head to Bistro Byronz January 29th for Give Back Night and a portion of your food and take out services will go to Mid City Gras.

Friday, Feb 9: Krewe of Southdowns. 7 PM Southdowns. A great Mardi Gras parade in the middle of the city!

Saturday, Feb 10: Spanish Town Parade. Noon downtown. Baton Rouge’s most unique Mardi Gras parade is sure to be the party of the season. This year’s theme is “Game of Thongs”…you won’t want to miss out on this fun-filled parade!

Saturday, Feb 10: 5th Annual Baton Rouge Mardi Gras Fest. 10 AM – 7 PM north boulevard town square
