You may notice a different cap on some Abita beers this month.
Abita has partnered with Pints for Prostates, a nonprofit organization that aims to reach men through beer in order to raise awareness about prostate health, according to the Pints for Prostates website. Abita’s Big Easy IPA will have blue caps to promote Pints for Prostates’ message, according to an Abita news release. The caps will have messages on them, such as “Survivors Drink More Beer!”
Many breweries across the United States are also participating in the effort, and the release estimates that 1.6 million blue-capped beers will be on shelves this September.
