More than 90 non-profit organizations will come together today in honor of Give Baton Rouge Day, inviting people around the city to donate to a group of their choice. The movement, referred to as #GiveBR, is in response to the devastation left by August’s flood, according to its website.
Capital Area Animal Welfare Society, Baton Rouge General, LSU Museum of Art and the Walls Project are among the 95 non-profit organizations participating in the day-long event.
Donations can be made through the #GiveBR website.
