Bill requiring minimum age of 21 for exotic dancers moves to House

A bill requiring exotic dancers in Louisiana strip clubs to be at least 21 years old has moved on to the House for consideration, The Advocate reports. The bill was approved in the Senate unanimously.

“It’s strictly an anti-human trafficking bill,” said Sen. Ronnie Johns, according to The Advocate.

Senate Bill 468 would allow people between the ages of 18 and 20 to still work in strip clubs, but not as exotic dancers.
