In honor of the company’s revival of cult hit “Gilmore Girls,” Netflix is transforming coffee shops across the country into the show’s own Luke’s Diner for a special one-day promotion, The Advocate reports. On Oct. 5, Baton Rouge’s Brew Ha Ha will serve 250 cups free coffee to “Gilmore Girls” fans, with the business decked out in decor based on Luke’s. The promotion will start at 7 a.m.
“Gilmore Girls,” a show which originally aired on the WB, followed by the CW, follows the lives of Lorelai and her daughter, Rory, living in small town Stars Hollow, Connecticut. Through seven seasons, viewers follow the two as they navigate through their love lives, family issues and various other obstacles, often with humor. Luke’s Diner often served as a meeting place for the two.
The new season of “Gilmore Girls,” called “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” comes to Netflix on Nov. 25.
