Cajun Nation Fest to benefit flood relief

Cajun Nation Fest, a two-day flood relief benefit, will donate all proceeds to the Baton Rouge Area Foundation Flood Relief Fund, according to a news release. The festival will include music, children’s activities, food and more.

Local artists such as CJ Solar, The Anteeks and more will play at the festival, and performances will run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Oct. 29 and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Oct. 30. For children, Cajun Nation Fest will have a petting zoo, bounce houses, trick-or-treating and more.

As for food, a Jambalaya cook-off will take place on Saturday. In addition, the event will have food and drink vendors.

The festival will be held Oct. 29-30 at the Louis Mouch Jr. Multi-Purpose Facility in Port Allen.
