There’s no doubt—festival time is one of the best times of the year!  From strawberries to music, Louisiana seems to have festivals dedicated to nearly everything you can think of.   And, if there is one thing that is required for a fun weekend of festivals, it’s an awesome playlist.  So, of course we are here to make sure your playlist on poppin’ status.

“I Took A Pill In Ibiza—Seeb Remix” by Mike Posner

If you’re looking for an upbeat song to start your festivities with, “I Took A Pill In Ibiza – Seeb Remix” is the perfect one for you!  The lyrics are very catchy, not to mention the beat that will have you wanting to show your best dance moves.

“Yeah!”  by Usher 

“Take that, rewind it back” to Usher’s 2004 chart-topping hit, “Yeah!”  This song will have you and your friends traveling down memory lane as you ATTEMPT to recreate all the signature dance moves from the video.  It’s also the perfect song to include on your playlist because more than likely, all of your friends will know every word!

“Formation” by Beyoncé

We all know Beyoncé is the queen, which is exactly why you couldn’t possibly have a playlist without her latest hit “Formation.”  This song will have you dancing like you’re from TexasBama!    And thank God for the repeat button because we’re sure you’ll one this one on replay.

“Work” by Rihanna (Featuring Drake)

Whether you like the song or find it annoying – chances are you can’t get it out of your head.  This catchy song will have you winding your hips like you’re the Island Gal herself.  And of course, any song that Drake is on is a playlist MUST!  Which is exactly why you should also add…

“Hold On, We’re Going Home” by Drake

There are just some songs that instantly put you in a great mood and this is one of them!  “Hold On, We’re Going Home” is an oldie but a goodie.  This song never gets old and remains one of Drake’s biggest hits.

“Home Alone Tonight”  by Luke Bryan (Featuring Karen Fairchild)

Luke Bryan is known for creating smashing hits and “Home Alone Tonight” is the perfect example of why.  Even if you’re not a country fan, this song is a must on your playlist.  The “feel good” track will have you singing to the top of your lungs and reminiscing about your crush!

“Really Really” by Kevin Gates

Of course you have to include Kevin Gates on your Louisiana festival playlist.  The Baton Rouge native is setting the charts on fire with songs like “Really Really” from his new album “Islah.”  If you’re in the mood to get turnt, this track will definitely be the go-to track on your playlist for you and your friends.

“Hollaback Girl” by Gwen Stefani

Throw it back to when you first learn how to properly spell B-A-N-A-N-A-S.  “Hollaback Girl” is definitely one of those songs that will have you and your friends reliving your childhood memories.

“I Love College” by Asher Roth

This track will be the soundtrack to many of our lives!  While you may hate the work, the mistakes, and being a broke college student, you’ll realize just why college is one of the most amazing experience you’ll have in your life!  Plus, it’s just a classic throwback jam that never gets old.

“Work From Home” by Fifth Harmony (Featuring Ty Dolla $ign)

If this beat doesn’t get you on your feet, than nothing else will.  Turn up the volume and rock out to this song while you’re partaking in your favorite festival traditions.  You’ll definitely want to keep this song on repeat!
