Cox to phase out service for analog customers in BR

If you’re a Baton Rouge Cox Communications customer and still have analog cable service, you may not be watching TV next month.

The communications company cut off service to its analog customers in New Orleans last month, and according to The Advocate, Baton Rouge is next, along with Lafayette. An “analog” customer receives cable without having a cable box.

These customers now have to obtain a “minibox” from the company in order to receive programming.
