Cody Worsham, EIC
“Night Moves” – Bob Seger
Some songs punch you right in the gut, like a nostalgia-packed fist. Say farewell to summer with this classic track from Seger. After all, autumn is closing in.
McCray Sutherlin – A&E Editor
“Let’s Get It On” – Marvin Gaye
“I contend that sex is sex and love is love. When combined, they work well together.” Sir Marvin Gaye saw sex and love as two things equally pure and beautiful. Finish off that bottle of red, drop the needle, and have a dance around the living room with that special someone.

“Scenes From An Italian Restaurant”- Billy Joel
“Bottle of red, bottle of white. It all depends upon your appetite.” The legendary New Yorker sings off of his classic record The Stranger. So, pair your favorite bottle with the 1977 classic from one of rocks biggest icons.
Parks Vincent – Music Writer
“Stella By Starlight” – Miles Davis
This is for the late nights. Not the kind of night where you stay up till the sun peaks over the horizon and you can’t believe you “just did that” as you attempt to grip reality and cope with sleep deprivation. This is for an evening of ease. You might catch yourself spinning around the living room dancing with the doors closed because it’s the weekend and you can let it all go, perhaps after a few drinks. Smooth.
Jeff O’Brien – Music Writer
“Universal on Switch”- Govinda
Shane Madden, also known as Govinda, incorporates his musical talents on the violin with his more recent love for electronic music production. The two intertwine beautifully in this track, culminating in an upbeat, exotic jam that is sure to get your feet moving. Govinda released a single earlier this month, “Corrientes Circulares.” Keep an eye out for more violin infused beats from the talented Madden.
