Only 5 months after opening its doors as the hottest new spot for lunch and dinner in Baton Rouge, Flambée Café will now open for an additional offering–– Sunday Brunch. With brand new French inspired dishes designed to bridge the gap between breakfast and lunch, the café will serve both sweet and savory items, and new brunch craft cocktails, on Sunday mornings from 11 am to 3pm.
“We always strive to be in touch with the needs and wants of our patrons,” said Chief Operating Officer Brock Kantrow. “So, when the demand for brunch became increasingly strong, we saw the opportunity to expand our concept and please our loyal customers.”
While many of Flambée Café’s signature items, including the crispy, thin crust Tarte Flambées and open faced Tartines, will remain on the brunch menu, the culinary team has created several new brunch-specific dishes including: the Petite Dejeuner Flambée, a Tarte Flambée with eggs, cheese, bacon, and onions; Croque Mad-Ham-Oiselle Tartine, an open faced sandwich with fire-braised ham, a French-fired egg, and bacon mornay, and the Cinnful Bun, an oven-fired cinnamon roll drizzled with home-made icing. Signature brunch cocktails including the Frozen Flamboise and the Oh-La-Lait brandy milk punch will accompany carefully selected French wines on the beverage menu. The café will begin offering this new brunch fare on October 29th and will continue to be open for Sunday dinner.
