Just in time to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, veteran performer Matthew Gurnsey “The Kilted Man” will be at three Libraries to perform a FREE concert for the whole family to enjoy! Everyone will be delighted by Gurnsey’s rousing performance of traditional Irish and Scottish music. With a combination of wit, finesse and his stirringly rich bass voice, Gurnsey dons a kilt and sweeps audiences into tales of wayward voyages, unrequited love and the vibrantly colorful lives of the every-man beloved of many Irish tales. His unique talents with traditional Celtic instruments such as the bones and mandolin, concertina and bodhran, add authenticity to each piece.

  • 3 p.m. Saturday, March 3, Bluebonnet Regional Branch
  • 4 p.m. Monday, March 5, Jones Creek Regional Branch
