Come join us for our first TOT of the new year! We’re going to be looking back 500 years to the Reformation with Michael Lane and what that historical situation means for us as Catholics in 2018.
Michael is a native Texan and cradle Catholic from Corpus Christi, TX. He attended Baylor University from 2005-09 where he earned a B.A. in history and political science. In 2011, he moved to Baton Rouge to attend LSU where he earned his M.A. in history with a thesis on Catholic laity under Elizabeth I. He then transitioned into his PhD with a focus in early modern Britain and medieval Europe. Michael is currently Junior Professor of History at St. Joseph’s Seminary College in Covington, LA and is working on a dissertation examining the reformation in England under Henry VIII. He and his lovely wife Jordan live in Baton Rouge where she is a campus minister at Christ the King Catholic Student Center at LSU.
