Ex-KKK leader David Duke qualifies for La. Senate debate

Former KKK leader David Duke has qualified for a Nov. 2 televised Louisiana Senate debate, Politico reports. The debate is scheduled to be held at Dillard University, a historically black university in New Orleans.

Duke qualified because he met the 5 percent threshold in a poll by Raycom Media, which was made to determine which Senate candidates would be in the debate.

Duke entered the Senate race earlier this summer. Louisiana’s primary will be held on Nov. 8.
