First Annual Baton Rouge Soul Food Festival announced

Get ready for the best soul food and music that the south has to offer.

The Baton Rouge Soul Food Festival will include live music from blues, soul and gospel artists, a vendor’s village and of course a soul food cooking competition. Think you’ve got some of the best soul food around? Entries are now being taken, click here to enter.

The festival will take place May 19-20 at the River Front Plaza and is free to the public.
