LSU running back Leonard Fournette’s ankle is no longer swelling and, according to coach Les Miles, the player is running like he was before the injury, WAFB reports.
“It was nice to see Leonard back, No. 7 is running like he would run. He’ll get nothing but better,” Miles said, according to WAFB. “I think he’s kinda getting a little of the rust off and looking forward to these series of games that can make a difference. The ankle feels good, apparently, I’m told. There was no swelling. So we are full speed ahead.”
LSU plays Auburn this Saturday at 5 p.m. in Auburn, Alabama.
