Galatoire’s Bistro hires DeWitt Ginn as executive chef

DeWitt Ginn, who previously worked at Baton Rouge restaurants Beausoleil and Table Kitchen & Bar, will be the new executive chef at Galatoire’s Bistro, according to a Galatoire’s news release. Chef Kelley McCann, who recently accepted a position at Kalurah Street Grill, was previously the restaurant’s chef.

“I like to cook food that people actually want to eat, whether they are sitting down for a weekday lunch, enjoying dinner and drinks with friends, spending their Sunday at brunch or celebrating a special occasion,” Ginn said in the release. “I am honored to join the Galatoire’s team and show Baton Rouge my own Louisiana style of cooking while presenting the exceptional food that Galatoire’s has always been known for.”
