It was announced last week that Bayou Country Superfest won’t be held in Tiger Stadium for the next two years, but another location that wants to host the festival has come forward.
Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Ascension Parish officials said the location is able to play host to the annual country music concert, WAFB reports.
“Lamar Dixon provides the best opportunity to retain Bayou Country Superfest in the Capital Region,” said Kyle Rogers, General Manager of the Lamar Dixon Expo Center, according to WAFB. “We are ready to show promoters and fans alike our capacity and capability for festivals just like this one.”
