L’Auberge could lose business due to proposed smoking ban, exec says

An exec at the parent company of L’Auberge Hotel & Casino, Pinnacle Entertainment, says the casino could be at a disadvantage if the Smoke-free East Baton Rouge campaign is successful, according to The Greater Baton Rouge Business Report.

Executive vice president of governmental relations and public affairs Troy Stremming said the casino could lose customers to other casinos because of the ban, according to The Business Report. The casino currently allows customers to smoke on the gaming floor.

The Smoke-free EBR campaign currently has six Metro council members sponsoring it.
