LSU football player Trent Domingue is leaving the program because his scholarship wasn’t renewed, the kicker announced via Twitter yesterday. According to the tweet, he’s looking for a new school with which to play his fifth season.
“My heart will always be with LSU and it was truly an honor to play for the Mad Hatter,” Domingue said.

The NCAA only allows 85 scholarships to be out at one time, and LSU signed 25 recruits in February, coupled with its larger-than-normal senior class, according to The Advocate.
