LSU has officially announced that local grocery chain Matherne’s Market will be the anchor for the new Nicholson Gateway Development Project.
The Nicholson Gateway Development is a 28-acre plot designed for apartments, dining and shopping between West Chimes and Skip Bertman. The development will host a 50,000 sq. foot retail building on Nicholson Dr. in front of the apartments. Matherne’s will occupy over 17,000 sq. feet of this space, along with other retail and dining options.
