Mike VI, LSU’s live tiger mascot, has transitioned into hospice care and won’t be out in his yard, LSU said on Mike’s social media channels. He was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in May, and on Wednesday the school announced the cancer had spread. Mike’s veterinarian, Dr. David Baker, estimated the tiger had one to two months to live.
