The Target on Millerville Road closed following for renovations after August’s food, but the location will reopen partially on Dec. 1, according to The Greater Baton Rouge Business Report.

Renovations were already being planned when the flood hit, so officials decided to go ahead with those after the flood.

“When we took a look at the timing for reopening we decided to make a big investment in the store and the community,” Target spokeswoman Erkia Winkels said, according to The Business Report.

A grand reopening ceremony will be held Dec. 4, and liquor, produce, deli, meat and the bakery will be available on Jan. 15. Until then, only dry goods and dairy will be at the store.
