New festival to celebrate Baton Rouge and the Mississippi River

Want a new way to celebrate the capital city? Ebb and Flow music and arts festival may be the ticket.

The new festival celebrating Baton Rouge’s connection to the Mississippi River is scheduled for April 1-2, 2017, according to The Greater Baton Rouge Business Report. It’ll feature art installations and exhibits on the levees in Repentance Park.

“This is a real signature event that we hope to grow and expand along the levee,” said Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge President Renee Chatelain, according to The Business Report. “It’s a way to culturally brand our region and celebrate music, dance and our place on the river.”
