Perkins Rowe has organized an event to benefit local flood relief efforts, according to a news release from the shopping center.
On Sept. 24, Perkins Rowe will host Relief at the Rowe — A Day for Our Community from 10 a.m. until close. During the event, several Perkins Rowe retailers will donate a portion of their sales to St. Vincent de Paul’s “House in a Box” program. Perkins Rowe will also donate funds collected from parking meters in September to the cause.
“House in a Box” donates household items to families in need after natural disasters.
“We’re committed to being an active member of our local community,” said Paula Biggs, Marketing Manager at Perkins Rowe, according to a news release. “The recent flooding affected thousands of people here, and that includes many who work, shop, dine or simply enjoy themselves at Perkins Rowe. We’re excited to create this opportunity for everyone to join together in making a difference for those who need our help.”
