There’s a chance of a tropical depression forming in the Bahamas, Nola.com reports. The National Hurricane Center has been tracking the area.
“While development is not expected for the next couple of days, environmental conditions could become more conducive for some tropical or subtropical development by Friday,” said Hurricane specialist Eric Blake, according to Nola.com. “This area of disturbed weather is expected to move slowly west-northwestard or northwestward and gradually approach the southeastern United States over the next few days.”
