Dig Baton Rouge

‘Property Brothers’ filmed new show during Louisiana flooding

The men behind the hit HGTV show “Property Brothers” filmed a new show in New Orleans, and while in the Bayou State, August flooding hit Baton Rouge.

“It was tragic that that hit,” Property Brother Jonathan Scott said, according to People. “The great thing about Louisiana, though, is that everybody comes together to help everybody out. These people don’t know the folks that were affected but they don’t care they just went down there to absolutely drop everything and help out.”

The new show, “Brothers Take New Orleans” follows the duo as they renovate a shotgun house in the Big Easy. The house was damaged during Hurricane Katrina.

“Brothers Take New Orleans” airs Nov. 23 at 8 p.m.
