Those affected by Louisiana’s historic floods can begin receiving donated goods from the Salvation Army today, according to a news release. The goods will be distributed at the old Gap store at Cortana Mall from noon until 4 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to noon and 1 – 4p.m. tomorrow.
Among the goods donated are food boxes, water, cleanup kits, toiletries, diapers and pet supplies, according to the release. Only one person per household pay pick up goods for that household. People seeking donations must show proof of residence.
The Salvation Army is still accepting donations.
