The Dish: Chicken Caprese Crepe

Most people think of The Main Street Market as a place to buy fresh produce from local farmers around the city. I think of it as the home of the best crepes that have graced this planet. GoYaYa’s introduced the world to their sweet and savory crepe as a food truck, but then decided to permanently park downtown inside The Main Street Market. The smell is intoxicating and the options are endless. One of my many favorites is the Grilled Chicken Caprese. The signature crepe is stuffed with strips of grilled chicken swimming in gooey mozzarella and fresh Roma tomatoes. All is dressed with a pesto aioli that is made in house. If savory isn’t your thing, try a sweet crepe like the banana and Nutella or just add one as dessert. Remember, gluttony isn’t a sin in the South.
