Dig Baton Rouge

Tigers (finally) get their man

Local high school standout Lindsay Scott, Jr has announced his commitment to LSU for the 2016 season. The 5′, 11, 205 lb. quarterback is expected to compete early for playing time. Scott passed for 3,039 yards and 33 touchdowns as a senior at Zachary last year. He also ran for 1,963 and 28 TDs.

His commitment plugs a huge hole for the Tigers as they lost QB Feleipe Franks to Florida in November amid the Les Miles controversy. National signing day is Wednesday where Scott is expected to make it official.

ESPN recruiting writer Jeremy Crabtree says this LSU recruiting class may be the best… ever.
