Tin Roof Brewing Company is releasing an officially licensed LSU beer for football season, but the brand won’t decide what type of beer it brews — fans will.
Fans chosen through a survey page will take part in a blind taste test in order to choose the beer, according to a Tin Roof news release.
“We’ve created a slate of 8-10 test batches of various styles to sample in a blind tasting panel,” said William McGehee, co-founder of Tin Roof, in the release. “Each recipe was designed with the types of activities that LSU fans enjoy, such as tailgating and grilling out. The panel will be made up of these fans and they will determine the winning style that we’ll brew.”
