TV show shot in BR premieres tonight

The WGN TV series “Underground,” which details the story of a group of slaves planning an escape in the 19th century, was shot partially at a recreation of a plantation inside Baton Rouge’s Celtic Media Centre and the LSU Rural Life Museum, The Advocate reports. The Felicity Plantation in Vacherie, Louisiana, also makes an appearance in the show.

“Underground” premieres tonight at 9 p.m.
