Voodoo Music + Arts Experience releases schedule

Voodoo Music + Arts Experience has released its 2016 lineup schedule. If you’re just planning on going to Voodoo for a few shows here and there, now you’ll finally be able to start planning your Halloween weekend. And, if you’re planning on being in City Park for all of Voodoo, you can start your gameplan for how to get from stage-to-stage in the most efficient way possible.

The music starts on Friday at noon with Church with Babygirl, a DJ duo from south Louisiana, and continues until 11 p.m. You can catch big name acts like The Weeknd (9:45 p.m.) and G-Eazy (7:30 p.m.)

On Saturday, you can catch festival headliner Tool (9:30 p.m.) and alt-rock band Cage the Elephant (7:30 p.m.) among others.

On Sunday, end the weekend with Louisiana classic Preservation Hall Jazz Band (1:30 p.m.), the legendary Arcade Fire (7:30 p.m.) or the up-and-coming Chainsmokers (7:30 p.m.).
