According to Thrillist, the most underrated place in Louisiana is the Bayou Teche Paddle Trail, about 60 miles outside of Baton Rouge. Bayou Teche is about 135 miles long and runs along several towns in South Louisiana. At the destination, you can take a wildlife and and natural history tour, and you can also fish for catfish.
