Football season gets most of the attention in Baton Rouge this time of year, but there is another way to spend a cool November night with the Tigers. LSU men's basketball tips off its 2026-27 regular season at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Tuesday, Nov. 3, and the PMAC stays busy right through the holidays.

LSU, the SEC and the league's TV partners released dates, times and networks for the 32-game regular season on Oct. 7. Here is the home slate before conference play begins.

November home games

Tue. Nov. 3: LSU New Orleans, 7 p.m. (SECN+)

Fri. Nov. 6: Texas Southern, 7 p.m. (SECN+)

Mon. Nov. 9: Louisiana Tech, 7 p.m. (SECN+)

Wed. Nov. 18: ULM, 7 p.m. (SECN+)

Sat. Nov. 21: Queens, time TBA (SECN+)

Between those dates, the Tigers head to Spokane to face Gonzaga on Nov. 14, then spend Thanksgiving week in Palm Desert, California, against Arizona State on Nov. 25 and SMU on Nov. 26.

December home games

Tue. Dec. 1: Wake Forest, 8 p.m., SEC-ACC Challenge (SEC Network)

Sat. Dec. 5: Hofstra, 1 p.m. (SECN+)

Fri. Dec. 18: High Point, time TBA (SECN+)

Tue. Dec. 22: Louisiana-Lafayette, 5 p.m. (SEC Network)

Mon. Dec. 28: Washington State, 7 p.m. (SECN+)

The Wake Forest game is the marquee home date of the month, and the in-state matchup with the Ragin' Cajuns three days before Christmas is a natural outing for families with kids already out of school.

SEC play starts at home

The Tigers open the conference schedule in the PMAC on Saturday, Jan. 2, against South Carolina at 2:30 p.m. on SEC Network.

How to get tickets

Season tickets, single-game tickets for non-conference games and mini-plans that include SEC games are on sale now at LSUTix.net and the LSU Athletics Ticket Office. A Saturday afternoon tip like Hofstra on Dec. 5 pairs nicely with holiday shopping, while the weeknight games make an easy after-work plan. Grab a seat, wear your purple and gold and help the PMAC get loud early.
