Picture a pizza line where you point, pile on and then watch your pie disappear into a wood-fired oven. That is the whole idea at LIT Pizza, a privately held company based in Baton Rouge that has spread across the Capital Region and beyond.

Your pie, your way

Every pizza is built to order. The standard crust is an 11-inch thin crust that cuts into six slices, which works as a personal pizza for most adults. A gluten-free crust and a house-made cauliflower crust made with just four ingredients both come in a 9-inch size, and a crustless pizza bowl covers low-carb eaters. The dough has no egg or dairy, the red sauce is dairy free, and Daiya dairy-free cheese can stand in for mozzarella.

Signatures worth trying

Not in a building mood? Pick a signature pie. The Get LIT stacks pepperoni, Italian sausage, red onions, green bell peppers and mushrooms. The Localite brings andouille, jalapenos and Cajun Chef hot sauce, and the LA BBQ Chicken pairs roasted chicken with gorgonzola and banana peppers. Calzones come stuffed with mozzarella and ricotta and are served with warm marinara, and the bacon jalapeno cheese sticks make an easy starter.

Beer, wine and game nights

LIT pours Louisiana craft beer on tap alongside bottled beer and wine by the glass. Planning a watch party? Phone orders are taken for five or more pizzas, and the company offers a catering menu.

Find a location

Baton Rouge locations include 3930 Burbank Drive, 7474 Corporate Boulevard and 9850 Sullivan Road, plus a spot on Bluebonnet Boulevard.
