If the frigid temperatures tried to slow things down during Winter Restaurant Week, they didn’t stand a chance.

Despite the cold snap, diners across Baton Rouge, Ascension Parish, and St. Francisville showed up and showed out all week long, proving once again that our community will always rally behind its local restaurants. We heard from operators throughout the region who shared the same story: reservations were filled, dining rooms were buzzing, and guests didn’t let the weather stop them from supporting the places they love.

All week long, social media was buzzing with support. Restaurant teams were met with encouraging messages, tagged posts, and photo after photo of Restaurant Week meals. Diners proudly shared their dining adventures, from cozy date nights to group gatherings, helping spread the word and keep the momentum going throughout the week.

What made this Restaurant Week especially meaningful was the sense of connection. This wasn’t just about special menus—it was about showing up for the people behind the scenes. The energy from diners and the gratitude from restaurant operators created a powerful reminder of why Restaurant Week continues to matter year after year.

Winter Restaurant Week proved that even in the coldest weather, the support for our local food scene stays strong. We are incredibly grateful to every diner, restaurant, and team member who helped make this week such a success.

And now, we’re already looking ahead. If winter was any indication, we cannot wait to see what Summer Restaurant Week has in store.
