This is the part of Restaurant Week where the overthinkers lose and the diners who just go win. Two days left, limited menus, and some of the most fun, indulgent, and straight-up comforting dishes Baton Rouge is serving all year. If you’ve been waiting for a sign—this is it.
Pizza Byronz ($35)
If you’ve never had a Pizzone, this is your moment: part pizza, part ricotta-stuffed calzone, and fully unhinged in the best way—follow it with King Cake bread pudding and call it a victory lap.
Bistro Byronz on Perkins ($45)
The Pork Chop Pecan Meunière is old-school Louisiana comfort done right—juicy French-cut pork chop, nutty pecan sauce, creamy grits, and Brussels sprouts that actually pull their weight.
El Pollo Loco ($20 for the group)
This is the ultimate “why didn’t we do this sooner” option—char-grilled chicken, chips and guac, churros, and drinks for the whole table at a price that feels illegal in 2026.
Rouj ($60)
Rouj understood the assignment: Double Crab Crab Cakes, buffalo frog legs, truffled chicken bacon ranch, and a donut ice cream sandwich that absolutely did not need to go that hard—but did.
Bin 77 Bistro & Sidebar ($45)
This menu is flexing quietly, and the Braised Wagyu Beef Cheek proves it—fall-apart tender, deeply savory, and paired with roasted carrots and mushroom ragout that feel very “treat yourself, but make it classy.”
Drago’s Seafood Restaurant ($89.95 for two)
If you’re going big, go all the way—the Cowboy Ribeye and Lobster Mac combo is pure celebration energy, capped off with an I-Scream Fireball that feels like dessert and a dare.
Two days left. That’s it. These menus disappear, the prices jump back up, and the “we should’ve gone” texts start flying. Pick a table, grab your people, and show these restaurants some love while you still can.
